Beautiful Things, And Yet...

by Animus   Oct 23, 2008

I wake up in the morning to the smell of snow in the air,
And yet I'm thinking of you.
The stars are bright and clear in the sky,
And yet I'm thinking of you.
The sun blossoms from the horizon in brilliant shades,
And yet I'm thinking of you.
The sky is clear and blue with perfect white clouds,
And yet I'm thinking of you.
The air is crisp and cold with a hint of pine and cedar,
And yet I'm thinking of you.
The autumn leaves burn with fiery color,
And yet I'm thinking of you.
The sun's rays shine through the leaves and warm me,
And yet I'm thinking of you.
The sun is swallowed by the hills as it reflects off the sound,
And yet I'm thinking of you.
The stars shine bright overhead once again,
And yet I'm thinking of you.
I fall asleep to the warmth of the crackling fire,
And yet I'm thinking of you.
A whole day has gone by and all I've done,
Is think of you.
