What I See

by Anaisthitos   Oct 24, 2008

I see beauty dance,
Pain and sorrow, weep.
The deepest romance,
I see darkness reap.

I see love defined,
and the hardest fears faced,
I see hope shine,
and challenges embraced.

I watched as she fought,
I watched as she won.
Her destiny, shot,
Her future, begun.

I see wonders sprout,
And brilliance brake free.
I saw rejected doubt,
And past damage, flee.

I've seen misery attack,
I've seen her survive,
I've seen courage laugh,
When I look in her eyes.
