Sign my Heart with the Blackest Ink

by Romancing the Darker Side   Oct 30, 2008

So I can't keep it together,
We could live through these glances.
Or we could forget it all together.
I'd rather take my chances.

I won't make this easy for you,
I don't usually come and go.
I know I'd like to see it through,
But could you, eyes aglow?

I love the way you move around,
Like you've got something to hide.
Classy act, world renowned-
Of your qualities, I've lied.

You've got no business here,
You weren't invited to my life.
Now it's loving you, I fear,
That will cause me endless strife.

Now allow me once more,
To explain to you my mind.
Shut the door you've walked into,
My fragile heart, you've signed.

Really strong poem, gret style, nice flow. Keep it up. Shanik
