Witness

by Liz   Nov 11, 2008

I witness something,
That is obscene.
It's something bad,
Its something sad.

I wish I could say,
What happened that day.
Even if I would,
I'd be misunderstood.

It wasn't that great,
That horrible date.
Just what happened,
It wasn't pretend.

It was cold blood,
And then a thud.
That dark hooded figure,
Was more than a blur.

It was a man,
I should have began.
With black hair,
And eyes flare!

His tall body,
Compared to nobody.
He stood 6'10,
I wish I'd never seen him.

That is my statement,
It's more than a hint.
Now what about me?
How safe will I be?

I soon was found,
But not safe and sound.
My body lay dead,
All because of what I said.

I love it, and can really picture it, and the flow was . . . . amazing!
