Flair

by Jade Shadow Rose   Nov 15, 2008

The empty smiles, the wore out grins,
Drowning in the sea of sins,
Gasping, climbing, reaching, screaming,
Bleeding out with hatred seething,

The forgotten voice, the frozen words,
Shattering, raining like crystal swords,
Stabbing, cutting, slashing hard,
No where to run, no-one to guard,

Alone, shattered, scattered, and scared,
Screw this, move on, learn as you go,
From fling to flair to something more,
It's all just for show,

The only truth is strength, skill, and will,
Far too many people too weak to stay,
After failing I strive to be better,
Never going to let someone be afraid,

All we can do is move on from the past,
Learn from what we were shown that lasts,
And no matter how hard we try,
No matter what, alone we cry.
