We'll Remember This... (Before We Sleep)

by FenderGrl   Nov 16, 2008

I saw you in the park way that day from far away,
thought I'd never find you.
For so long, that face I'd seen on the portray
And I knew it was you. . .

I, extraordinary as you,
you beyond mastered. . .
jittery as your face got near,
a mind abounding in a million thoughts per minute
Was all that I could hear. . .

Beyond the Racket, I heard your voice
charm me for whatever
that I descended deeper into this sleep forever. . .
This dream that we living
What we must... to never wake up from it
Sure enough. . .
the possibilities,That this is deeper than deep,
That Tomorrow we'll remember this. . .
Before we sleep.

I saw you in the park way that day,
can't believe I left you. . .
As I walked out the doorway,
Your face, a shade of gray
And I knew we were two. . .

Don't you know, I loved the feeling
The sparks in your eyes,
Your hand held on to mine,
Your arms around me, your face so near
Your lips so gentle-- and the memories. . .
That only one thing is for certain--
it is love at your door. . .
One last glance, that I'm yearning to stay.
You promised forever
And forever I will wait.
