Forgotten, not Forgiven.

You used me and abused me,
You toyed with my heart.
You made me think you loved me,
So well, you played your part.

I was so strung out on you,
You were my favorite drug.
I could only ever think of you,
Now Im beginning to unplug.

I unplug from the heartache,
Unplug from the tears,
I remove all the memories,
Brought on by the years.

You no longer haunt my memories,
You no longer have a hold.
Ive slowly forgotten about you,
My life, finally to unfold.

I forget about your gorgeous smile,
The way you held me near,
But forgive you for this heartache?
That, Ill never do my dear.

    I loved it, its a poem about moving on and about not forgiving the one that hurt u, its great. Moving on is hard, im trying to do it right now, i wish i could do it this easily. but i guess thats the price i pay for a marrage.lol, beautifully written poem and im happy that you moved on from your heartach
