I am a broken angel,
Bleeding on the ground
Beaten and forgotten
Never to be found.
My wings, battered and broken
Sin runs though my veins
A tear drop rolls down my face
As I remember all the pains
I broke my lovers spirit
And it could not be replaced
I was beaten in a graveyard
And felt the pain that he had faced
Alone with no mercy
To stand by his side
I stabbed in the back
The one who I confide
I try to stand alone
With no one nearby me
And it is not until now
That I can finally see
I'm not the only one
In this dark abyss
There is another who was grazed
With hatreds horrid kiss
I'm not the only bleeding angel
In this black graveyard
Scarred and battered from the pain
Others constantly bombard
And I feel it was my fault
He was sent to suffer here
Because I was the one
So engulfed in fear
So I'll protect him with there battered wings
And I'll shield him from the doom
Because I know he'll leave forever
If I don't do so soon
I'll never let another sin
Stain his eyes with tears of blood
And fall forever through this black
Like a dying red rose bud
I'll stay next to my angel,
Till he is once again with me
He'll no longer be stained with tears
And he will always fly free
I'll trade my spirit for his own
So he may have his smile back
And be freed of his prison here
In this graveyard filled with black
I am a broken angel

But I won't let him be like me
Someday he must be found
My angel won't always be here
Someday, someone will come
His spirit will return to him
And his heart won't feel so numb
That person will hold him high
And help him become free
But it makes a tear fall from my eye
To know that person isn't me
