Is Love Lost?

As i sit here writing this verse
i can see love riding along in a hearse
heading for the grave dug by my heart
love came and went
ripping my soul apart

i don't think ill ever love again
no i don't think i will
if i ever do
i think it would be overkill

but what is a world without love
nothing much but it would still go on
welcome to my world
a world where you stand alone

hatred fuels my spirit
and hatred fuels my soul
giving me the push i need to go through
my life is Grey my feelings are past blue

is love lost??
i would really like to know
i need to experience love again
even if it kills me i must know.

the end is near
the beginning is gone
its time for me to end this sad song

its over in a second

the end has come!

    This was an excellent write. i love the 'love is gone' concept. your first stanza was my favourite,

    I liked this poem. The wording was great but it could well with out the "BOOM". Other then that the poem was great and so was everuthing about it. I gave it a 5/5.
