The Best Lesson

by InvisiblyHeartless   Dec 4, 2008

You can peep through my window
And watch the funny freak show
I'm on display in plain sight of you
Enjoy the sight, it's a pleasure
Entertainment pours out with light
My simple and solitary vice
It shames me to see you watching
But I'm not embarrassed of it
It's fancy to see the red decorate
The new carvings outlined in pink
Band-aids will hide them from eyes
You, however, can see my secret
It's like an absorbing movie,
The crime I commit absolutely enthralls
Your virgin mind, the scissors to my skin
Slashing and tearing my pale flesh
It's a relaxing show, watching my pain
I'll display my hidden scars for you
You just don't understand my vice
I'm using my hate and pain
To teach your innocent little brain
That VIOLENCE IS NOT AN ANSWER
Never THE answer, just my solution
