Big Brother

by Layla   Dec 7, 2008

We thought you was the one
to do everything that everyone else wanted to do
you were different from them all
you had the brain and the heart
but now you look at you
in and out of jail like you aint got no sense at all
look at your mother the one
and only one who fought for you
when the rest said you aint worth it any more
them nights you were out and about kicking it with your so called friends
smoking and drinking with no worries at all
she was at home worrying her heart at
and those nights you were in jail
she stayed awake for days crying till her eyes were blood shot red
every time you got out you would say you'll change
but then go back to doing same
instead of getting better you worsened
every time she spoke you said she was nagging
any ounce of respect you had was long gone
you change i miss the old you when you weren't that cool
you told me you would change for the better when i told you how i
felt and as my older brother i thought it was true
i can't even look at you the same way anymore
you did every thing i say you wouldn't do
and i have lost all hope in you
here's a letter telling you the truth
all these people that you think are your friends and got your back cuz you they homie they weren't there when your lip got busted and you got an infection and you need someone to take you to the hospital
they weren't there
you know who was
WE WAS...
