How Could I Go

by Nob Ody   Dec 9, 2008

This tale starts off with a boy
Whose life was filled with joy
From his home to his dear friend; all was great
There was nothing he felt that he could hate
The joy remained until he met a girl
Who seemed to make his world whirl

She stunned him with her charm
With full intent to harm
Almost a Goddess she was to him
However his future was rather grim
No matters what he may await
Better if his emotions remained sedate

Two years he fought
In the end it was all for naught
Even with the greatest plan
There was no hope; With another man
Left the boy heart broken; wasting away
Everything around slowly turned a dull gray

Covering his problems with a smile
Even though inside he was putrid and vile
Nothing but a shell
After going through such hell
His life was damaged; in need of repair
Frazzled worse than a child’s bed hair
He returned home, weary and tired
To be alone is what he desired

However, his wishes were not met
But this was something he could not regret
left heart broken not looking for love
surprised in his eyes when he looked above
A goddess rising him from abyss
And put him into a state of bliss
