Never Just A Memory

by ShyandHurt   Dec 10, 2008

Ny heart leaps to erratic heights as our lips touch for the last time of the day,
I cherish this moment for as long as I can,
Love exploding from me.

At home I sit and stare out the window,
Watching the world go by,
Thinking.

I don't understand it,
How I managed to get you in my arms,
End up in your safe comfort.

Slowly I start to realize there is only one thing I want.
This one want keeps me wondering,
I never want to become a memory,
Never be remembered.

This is because I want to be in the present and future,
Never the past,
Never just a memory.
