Lovely Lies

by InvisiblyHeartless   Dec 10, 2008

You think she's always lied
Believing what that guy says
Those lies he uses as revenge
To break her into smaller squares
You see, she only asks why?
She's not the one using you
Honestly, she fell straight for you
The first time you two dated
That mistake you made died
You changed, forced to believe
There isn't a way that it was you
But, seriously, the second mistake
Was more deadly than the first
She gave you all of her secrets
For you to just abandon her
You weren't her only true hope
You just shone the brightest
Lighting up her life, it's what you did
Betraying her, saying she lied
Really, that killed her inside
You're the reason she's planning suicide
The reason she can't put it all behind
Sweetie, if you believe those lies
You should really look in her eyes
If you never noticed them
Then look at her notebook of silly hearts
"I love you's" and you name tattoed
Cause, honey, you are the guilty party
And she's just the innocent victim
Taken prisoner by lies of love
