You came into my life with a spark and thud
Shaking my usually steady same ole world to the core
I swore I hated you
But that wasn't the truth.

The lies came out one by one,
"I hate him!" "I don't love you." "Only he hopes for the future, not me." "I will never leave you for him."
Look where I am now.

I'm stuck in a rut
Wondering and thinking
Thinking of the past and future
And wondering if I made the right choice.

I worked so hard to get us where we are
But your games hurt me, they fool with me
I can't help but wonder.
