Her

by DryMyTears   Dec 11, 2008

Be advised-adult discretion
her fake smile hides her depression
go on and think its not all a lie
she lost herself to one guy
you know how it is
how you'd give anything just to be his
although after this he won't be around
and no one to pick you up now that you're down
guess what? now the jokes on you
nothing possible left to do
nothing can fix this now that its done
obviously this battle you couldn't have won
isn't it fun being labeled as a wh0re
as you watch your innocence holder walk out the door
do you really think he cares
if he did why does he just stop and stare?
shouldn't he be holding you tightly in his arms
and whisper gently "I'm sorry for putting you in harm"
but thats not this boy, who obviously doesn't care
if he did then why is he over there?
all those feelings he felt, were all so fake
only forming a big lie did he make
doesn't he understand he took something you can't get back
the next boy won't understand the one thing you lack
maybe it's easy for a guy to do this
all the little details about you he missed
one day he'll realize hes missing out
but that is one thing i truly doubt
but of course you could always keep hope
one day maybe you'll be able to cope
right now you'll wear your fake smile
the pain should subside in a while.

this poem is actually about me, but i wrote it as if giving advice to another girl. please comment and rate. be honest
