The Lady Dressed in Red

by Mike Forsythe   Dec 12, 2008

Red wine touches virgin lips
She's waiting for true loves first kiss
In her eyes is innocence
She is the lady dressed in red
She cries for love by the sea
The pain she suffers endlessly
Long after you and after me
She is the lady dressed in red
She has shed so many tears
Waiting lonely at the pier
For what seems a hundred years
She is the lady dressed in red
She did die so long ago
She died sickly and alone
For her true love she did not know
Still waits the lady dressed in red
