Breathless Thought

Slowly walking to midnight
ignoring the buzz of light
trudging through the apple trees
devious snakes crawling from my veins
the hunger comes ever so
slowly, so quickly
have to get ahold of myself
my inner demon
before I lose control
and crash right into you

    Awesome write....the word choice and flow are spot on and i love the feel of this when read aloud.

    Also, i really like the tempo that you make the reader recite this piece.
