She's Changed You

by Alicia   Dec 17, 2008

I've noticed how you lie to her,
I've noticed you don't say her name.
I've noticed how things are different.
And how they are the same.

You always want to hang around.
You always have a joke.
But now everytime she calls you.
You always have a smoke.

I've noticed that your withdrawn.
About everything you say.
And I can't help but wonder.
What makes you feel that way.

You try so hard to act relaxed.
And sometimes force a laugh.
But I can't help but notice.
That's it's been cut by half.

You say you really love her.
You say you really care.
But how can you love someone.
Who is not really there?
