My christmas wish

Santa, my wish this year is simple
Its nothing too expensive or dear
It is something I lost recently
And miss at this time of year.

I will not ask for a large present
Not even a toy or sweet
I have tried to be a good girl
And think I deserve my treat.

This thing that I ask for
Is a visit to a place far away
Where all the trees are white
And it is never dull or grey

I may have said a small lie
When I said I only want one thing
This second wish involves my guardian angel
The person who came me his "ring"

My second wish is simpler
It would be to bring him home
"Merry Christmas" I would shout
Down the line on the telephone.
