Fantasies of Hopelessness

by InvisiblyHeartless   Dec 20, 2008

That song she listens to repeatedly
Those dreary nightmares of hers
Her beautiful fantasies gone wrong
Late night talks, smiles, giggles
Silly arguments, playful moods
Myspace status, " I love him "
You believe it's her boyfriend
Those little poems she writes
For her 'prince charming lad in dark'
Blue eyes shinging for 'him'
You tell her she's beautiful,
That she's amaing, your friend
You love her too, you know
Little hearts doodled on notebooks
Not the boyfriend's name there
Blind child, you didn't know it
You've already crushed her heart
Her cover causes more pain
The equation adding up high
She's fallen for you, always and forever
The end is a firey lake
Tame heart, she knows that
Yet, she wouldn't trouble you
Her 'prince's' kisses are yours
She sees you, waiting by her locker
The trivial facts don't sum up
Open your eyes an see,
What her pain is really about
