Farewell, Dearly Beloved

by InvisiblyHeartless   Dec 20, 2008

As I write my farewell note
A letter to all my beloveds
The knife gleams flourescent
Shrouded by darkness, I write
Tonight I add to a statistic
So put me on your graphs
I do care for you, all, loves
You've hosted me so kindly
I drank your hospitality in
Listen, I was never meant
To lay in bed under this roof
Till it's "my time to die"
You see, loving you taught me
Life isn't all fun and games
But --
The loser still pays her debt
Cinderella stills dies in the end
It's my time to bleed
My hopes and dreams - faded
You can call it hideous,
Beloved family, friends, boyfriend
I was never strong enough
Never more powerful than
My numbing addiction to metal
Understand, don't blame yourself
The weaklings always get eliminated
The sunset always goes black
Move on, dearly beloved,
Don't waste pointless time
Shed tears, none at all
I'm where I should be
With my best enemy ever
My addiction, the satin devil's toy
Don't you see, this offer
He sent me on a mission
And it's one of destruction
One to ruin myself
Tempting my with blades
Drunk, yes, I am intoxicated
By an overwhelming pain
You see, I wished myself here
Don't waste time to mourn
I always took the easy path
And here I go again
