Past, present and future

by RoseBlood   Dec 20, 2008

It had passed a lot of days,
And the days became years.
Exactly seven since they parted.

But none of them has never known...
Whatever was the reason?
Why did they fall apart?

Did they have different interests?
Or, maybe they have just given up?

She was reading his letters,
And then she wanted to burn them,
Letters sent from long distance,
That were bounding them
For that long time.

He wasn't aware of the fact,
That she still lived,
On the 5th floor in their flat.
She was still in their neighborhood
Where they spent years together in their childhood.

They were fourteen,
Dreaming things they haven't seen.
He went off to see the world,
But, in his heart, she was always his girl.

Now they are twenty-one,
They have seen the world as they wanted.
But, all that they ever wished,
Was to never have parted.

She walked down the street,
Wishing to see him,
Wondering if he had gotten back,
Remembering how they were.

And there he was,
Waiting for her on their place,
On the corner,
Waiting no one but her.

They saw each other,
and their hearts quickened.
He was still in love with her,
and she was his till the end.

Has it really been seven years?
The feelings remained the same
Nothing has been replaced
Like it hasn't been long time.

Will they stay together?
They don't know.
But, they will belong to each other.
Like in the past, the present and in the future.
