If You Leave Me

by malina   Dec 20, 2008

Please, I beg you once more
If you truly leave me, what do you expect me to become
Its hard enough to barely smile without you
Do i just as easily give up on this world like you with the words "I'm Done"

Promise me that if we separate now
And we meet again somewhere in this lonely world
Pretend that we were always just strangers
That there was never a moment I was ever yours

You easily push me away
But I cling on helplessly with the formation of many tears
When I look as pitiful as this
Yet somehow you still make me invisible after all these years

Did you mistake me for someone else?
Why are you doing this to only me?
Have you lost our hope from the very start?
That now you smile with ease

I hold on to you even now
Because I believe we can conquer this world together
That I sincerely meant it
When I said those words always and forever

Please don't push me away then hold me tightly
I begin to run out of reasons to love if you do
My thoughts races out of control
Consisting of only you

When I place my hand forward to meet yours
Promise me to hold it tightly
And don't ever again let me go
Because in my mind lives you and me
