THE AFRICAN BABY GIRL (Part II)

by Korede Kuks   Dec 22, 2008

Though often unwanted yet inevitable
Few men would ever prefer to live their lives without her
Though by men denied at birth
Yet by men desired at Maturity

Though often not cherished at birth
Yet inside of her is seed that could produce nation
She is the salt in man's world
Give her a chance and she would prove the awesome greatness
Which the Almighty has deposited in her mother
Yet she soon becomes the beautiful bride that matters

Though often a victim of rape, abuse and slavery
Though often seen but never heard
Despised by the traditions of men and deprived by the norms of the society
Yet the African baby girl is undeniably a symbol of beauty

A THING OF JOY FOREVER.

(EVEN THOUGH WOULD HAVE BECOME THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD GIRL)
