Christmas time

Sing-a-song of Christmas,
presents around the tree.
Logs burning on the fire,
flames dancing happily.

Children sleeping soundly,
snuggled in their beds.
When the jingle sound of bells
Are heard from up ahead.

The jingle comes from sleigh bells,
Santa lands upon the tiles.
Pulled by smiling reindeer,
they've flown a million miles.

Santa's down the chimney
there's magic in his eyes.
The gifts in his sack
will bring festive surprise.

He moves so very quietly,
just like a midnight breeze.
Filling every stocking,
and leaving gifts around the tree.

And in the spray of snow
Santa's off into the night.
You can hear his laughter, ho, ho, ho,
As he rides right out of sight.

Little heads are waking,
Their hearts are beating fast.
Excited cries can be heard,
For it's Christmas day at last.

And while gifts are opened
Outside the scene is grand.
A perfect snowy blanket,
A winter wonderland.

Celebrate this Christmas
spread love around the world.
Rekindle dampened spirits
Of every boy and girl.

Lets join hearts and voices
When we love we need not fight.
Lay down arms and do no harm.
A united world,
a future bright.
