The Girl

by Amirul Irfan   Dec 24, 2008

She would be tall and slender,
With long wavy hair,
Very nice complexion,
But not too fair.

She would stand next to me,
A girl next door,
She would laugh at my jokes,
Preferably rolling on the floor.

We'd have so much in common,
Wasting way to much prepaid,
Finishing eachothers sentences,
Before it was even said.

Walking around at the mall,
Going hand in hand,
Eyes only for each other,
Like falling in love with a best friend.

We would be at a party,
Till someone asks us how we met,
I smiled and said "baby why don't you tell her?",
And she'd go "no darling you tell it better".

Straight out of a movie,
This girl of mine,
Looking forward to meeting her,
Sends tingles down my spine.
