Gone, not forgotten

by Aliah   Dec 28, 2008

I found joy in your smile, the kind of bliss
that'll make your worries disappear, like I'm on cloud nine.
I found solace in your arms, the kind of comfort
only heavenly sheets would provide, and if you'd close your eyes,
you'd be right where you want to.
I found passion in your kiss, the kind that burns your heart into an exploding display of fireworks, bedazzling your eyes in the midnight sky. Yet it all disappeared, you ebbed away,
I'm like a memory locked and meant to be forgotten.
Where are you my hero? Why have you not come to save me from this nightmare? I miss your embrace, I miss your electric gaze
even your smile and mainly your presence.
Would you charm me one more time? Would you enthrall me once more with your beauty? I dearly miss and long for you.
I wished I could recite this to you, recite my genuine feelings for you, yet I know you'd simply let out a laugh and look at me and call me a foolish naive little girl. And I know that will hurt,
your judgment hurts more than me ever having the chance to get you back,
and so I decide that my lips would remain sealed.
