Palm to Palm

by LoveYourMan   Jan 5, 2009

Alone, humming quietly for only my ears.
Fluttering birds fascinate me
Underneath the vivid blue ribbon of sky.
A clever pair of smiling eyes watch my
Infatuation with the bright morning.
Approaching now. No words to clarify
He raised his hands flat, facing me.
I instantly met his hands with mine
Automatically. Unconcerned with other surroundings;
His eyes gleamed, for they had gone unnoticed
For too long. Autumn air filled my lungs.
He raised a finger to my mouth
His triumphant lips up turned.
