Memories Fade

Holding hands
feeling your heart beat quicken
as together we slow dance
your heart fails and sickens
your love at that moment stopped
I was no longer on top
Torn down
left with nothing but memories
the smile you left is now a frown
you are the drug holding me down

it ends before it is finished
as your hands fell from my hips
our love was then diminished
