Coffee Shop Love

by Alicia   Jan 12, 2009

I can't help but to see you looking at me.
I can hardly hope that this to be.

My mind begins to dream of romance.
With every single stolen glance.

I peak over the screen of my laptop.
You see me look, and quickly stop.

You're not my type, but I can change.
My stuff I begin to rearrange.

Do you see me making room for you?
Now there is room at my table for two.

We both look up at the same moment.
I do not think it was an accident.

I smile at you, but you look away.
Could it be your eyes happened to stray?

I take a sip of my coffee to distract.
Maybe I'm so lonely I'm might have just cracked.

But wait, you look again to see.
Your eyes returned to who? Only me.

My stomach fills with butterflies.
This tiny feelings tell no lies.

You stand up, and gather your things.
I swear that my heart just grew wings.

You smile! At me! I cannot believe.
But that's when you headed to the door to leave.

My heart deflates, and I can't help but sigh.
Is it so hard to sit and tell me lies?

I won't be upset, I'll just give him a shove.
I'll wait until tomorrow to see my coffee shop love.

Aww this was really sweet, i think the thing that we tend to forget is that guys get nervous too.. its always left up to them to do the work, but im sure they get intimidated by us.

Don't worry if he didn't come to sit next to you, he'll probably do it the next time you meet in th coffee shop.
