Drowning in Air.

by Mandy   Jan 16, 2009

There's not much time left on the clock
So you better work fast
Cause the way that things are going
I don't know how long we'll last.
And I'll swallow all those words
Although I'd rather spit them back
I see you counting down the seconds
While you wait for my attack.

I hear you breathing
But i pretend that you're not there
I ignore the fact that you're alive
While i drown in my own air.

The silence is deafening
But no one seems to notice
I know its hard for you
But at least try to understand this.
I cant take it
I can't take your accusations
And once again I'm sorry
That i couldn't meet your expectations.
