Eventually.

by Alicia   Jan 20, 2009

Warm soft embers brightly glow

On faces cool and pale.

In the winter willows weep

And bread begins to stale.

My eyes met yours across the room.

You coyly turned away.

But surely as spring flowers bloom

You will be mine someday.

Very good write. As the trait of this site lots of good write people don't care to read. This is an example. I appreciate your poem. Well done!

This is a short but sweet poem and it made me smile nice job =]
The rhyming was nice and the flow was spot on. I also think the way the poem was structured suited the piece well ^^
