Because of god

I'm an angel fallen from God's breath,
I've betrayed him and now he's sentenced me to death.

a life among the others, earth is where i fall,
a world full of hatred, everyone standing so tall.

I've been touched by the devil, just waiting to be saved,
I'm turning from touched to engraved.

forgive him i try, for the pain he has caused,
the love i have for him has now been paused.

for now i shall continue my life of regret,
but what he has taken away, i shall never forget.
