Put It To Rest

To me, I do believe God did send,
my loving and faithful husband.

I thank God for him every day,
I truly love him in every single way.

I don't know what I would do,
without a man ever so true.

I would spend many days and nights,
searching for a man, my Mr. Right.

Only to find in time, God would send,
a man to become my best friend.

If I had just trusted the LORD,
out blessings would have poured.

And I wouldn't have spent my days,
wasted and looking for ways.

I was sent a a wonderful man,
and a new life we began.

Just remember God knows best,
So, put your search to rest.

When it's time for you to find,
a man so perfect and kind.

God will send him to you,
only then will you know he's true.

I married my best friend,
the one my God did send.

Send to me some time ago,
and now I understand and know.

Understand that our God knows best,
So put your search to rest.
