A Friend

by Taylor   Jan 28, 2009

The times she when all she wanted was to die
Couldn't take the pain and needed room to breathe
When she suffered heart break and every little lie
She met a girl who promised she would never leave

In her days of complete and total suicide
She needed to hear the words of a pure heart
From a simple text, her friend has recharged her pride
And the weeks went on for the beginning of a new start

Sharing the same emotions and problems in life
It's almost as if they're joined by the soul
Can't be separated even with the conflict of strife
While one is in despair, the other is in control

They help each other get through the rough
Yelling and getting angry, then laughing in the end
Handling the worst even when it's more than enough
Cause through these times, all she needed was a best friend
