Consuming My Soul

by My Mistakes   Feb 3, 2009

The emptiness inside me
is eating at my soul.
Consuming who I am,
all that makes me whole.

I'm left with broken shards of pain
that are piercing at my mind.
I'm searching for myself,
but there is nothing left to find.

I'm deteriorating at a rapid rate
I'm so lost inside head.
Fumbling in the blackness,
afraid that my heart is dead.

I'm still looking for you darling,
the only one who can make me whole.
Without you the emptiness eats at me,
consuming all of my soul.
