The full idiom of to err is human is "To err is human, to forgive divine". This idiom is used when someone has done something wrong, suggesting that they should be forgiven.

I put "To err is human" because humans make mistakes sometimes. :D

Btw, nice poem. It gives off the emotion of stress and in the end, peace.
