A secret forest of my very own.

by Cate Rock   Feb 13, 2009

In the dead of night thats when ill go,
Because in the dead of night is the only time it shows.
Dress my army black,
Bleed them red, Long live the madness until we are all dead.

Dancing demons all in my head.
Laying around the Forest acting like were dead.
Running chasing flying from tree to tree...
You'll never catch me you shall never catch me.

Here my spirits free,
Here I am me...
In this wood my heart is in control of me.
Here in this wood i can be what i wanna be.

I'm a queen of Honey bees...
I'm not the demon everyone expects me to be.
I'm a fierce warrior...
not one who forces my mom to hire a lawyer.

I'm as tall as the trees...
I'm as swift as an elf...
I am as smart as anyone...
I'm not a doll u put up on a shelf...

Here I'm not a vampire, demon or moron...
Here i am me...
Right here...at this very spot...
Here is where i wanna be...

Love is a giggle and a wink here...
Friendships are forever here...
School is learning to fly...
Here in my forest... dreams shall never die...

And when I'm old...
Or even when I'm dead and gone...
Here in this forest my kin shall learn to belong...

---for my everlasting love for my secrets and livelihood.
