This night, these polluted skies

by Smilesunshine   Feb 16, 2009

He came into my life with the whispers of the wind
Unexpected, and most kind
The choicest flower could not make me smile more
Wonderful, and beautiful
His heart is pure gold, his smile like an angels

His scent lingers along my pillow
the smell makes my stomach tie up in knots
the butterflies linger inside
creating a smile on my face
that is not washable, it doesn't go away

I know there is many hearts in the world
that feel the way that I feel about you
I thank God, that I'm among the lucky few
who are smiling at the polluted skies tonight
with a heart full of love

and this heart belongs to you.
