Time after time I've been replaced
For some reason always misplaced.
I carry those scars that ravished my heart
Carved into "goodbye" now pulling apart
The grinding of saws and cursing of words
From your lusting and mine suddenly emerged.
Into the darkness away from the sun
Your trenching lies that said "the one"
Grasped in despair and a painted smile.
Forever seemed for a short little while
No matter how much you say I'm your friend
The sky will start crying even after the end.
