We said hi for the first time my freshman year
We where friends from then on
But i grew a crush that just gnawed on me
I had to tell but scared of rejection
My friend told and you turned away
Away from a friend away from me
I said it wasn't true even though it was
But still it was never the same
Now in Sophomore year i feel that way again
Another friend saying "It's good let it out."
But is isn't good because now you know
I can't stand to be near you any more
I wait until the time when we can be friends once
Again but that time may not come before you leave
The day that you go to Las Vargas i will dread
Because not only will i loose a friend
And not just a friend a Best friend or so i thought
But until we start to talk again there is none
