It's sad how just one thing can make you feel so lost
You don't know where your going until your paths end up crossed
This way or that way, unsure of where to go
Two choices you have, but how will you know?
One ends in pain, the other in bliss
Answers unknown, one to take, one to miss
Confusion seems to tear at your brain
While your heart is put under a strenuous strain
Words are too crushing but the silence hurts more
To take it or leave it, who knows what's in store
He hurt you so much it shattered your heart
The sharp pieces left over slowly tore you apart
Yet all those small fragments still loved him to death
Most likely you'll love him until your last breath
You want to forgive him for what he did to you
But to give back your trust seems impossible to do
