What a stunning piece that you have penned. It kept me attached the whole way, it really intrigued me from the start.

Without a word spoken
he left in the night
and ever since that day .... our days are none to bright
^^ This was so well written. It showed the pain, in an unusual way. Darkness representing sadness. This stanza just really stood out to me. I dont even have a logical reason, but i really love it.

We know he went to heaven
there is no other place he'd go
but does he still love us .... is something we need to know

The innocence of this shook me. Needing to know if he still loved them, showed the innocence of them so well, i felt. Also, it showed what faith they had in their dad, knowing he was a good man, that he would have gone no where but heaven.

Overall, a fantastic write that i really enjoyed.

This is one of the best poem i have come across so far. The pattern, words, simplicity and the message....everything one could look for. Beautiful poem indeed. Congrats on winning and i strongly feel that this one should stay on top for a long time even if its against rules... :)
