Four Beige Walls

by Richard S   Mar 7, 2009

Four beige walls scream at me.
You're not here.
I miss your absence.
You're not near.

Four beige walls remind me.
How I fuss,
When at home you coddle,
And I cuss.

Four beige walls surround me.
How I long,
For your consideration.
There was nothing wrong.

Four beige walls here on my own.
Did I say "I love you" today?
Or did I just leave you...
At bay.
