If I haven't told you how great you are,
Then I'll just go with telling you, you're my shooting star.
There's a feeling inside my heart that takes over me,
Where ever you go, that's where I want to be.
When we're in different places and not together,
My heart feel's alone and under the weather.
Although we may fight too many times,
I see it as the way our relationship climbs.
I've given my most prized possession to you, my heart,
And you've only but protected it from the very first spark.
The moments when I thought you and I had no hope,
Have only but brought me this far and taught me to cope.
I can only but promise you to be the best girlfriend,
With all our problems, issues and struggles I'm sure our relationship can mend.
