Taken away

by RoseBlood   Mar 18, 2009

I hate sleeping alone in our bed
I accidentally turn on your side
Then I catch your beautiful scent
That makes me remember everything I tried to forget

Childhood love came when we were sixteen
You, a sinner that needed to get clean
Me with a broken heart that needed to fix its pieces
We finally found peace in each other's arms

Many years passed and we moved away for school
Following our dreams, so nice, so pure
Dreams of life together, with me and you
Came true when were twenty-two

Our apartment was so beautiful
Filled with love that gloomed so wonderful
The perfect life we both had dreamed of
Had come true with the help of our innocent love

Then, you were gone, so quick, so soon
Six months now and everything has lost its gloom
Our bed is no longer filled with love
Because you were taken away by the man above
