Let it be me

So many times i really want to know
reasons behind things, why i love you so
why in my head i can't seem to get you out
but i want you to know, i love you without a doubt

times with you seem to be so good to be true
moments I'm happiest are moments with you
day by day i try to do things for you to notice me
sometimes i feel like you're just too blind to see

maybe this is what's meant for you and me
maybe being friends is all we'll ever be
but thinking of it breaks my heart into pieces
pieces it have become but my love never ceases

thinking of you day and night, every second of the day
wishing you're right beside me, wish you'll come my way
i gave up on love long time ago, but you open the door
the door to happiness, a path i want to explore

loving you is different, different from them all
i never intended this to happen, i didn't want to fall
but when i'm with you, everything is a surprise
you're a treasure, to anyone i can't give a price

so here i am, writing a simple poem for you
trying to speak out, trying to break through
a maze of feelings, i don't know where it ends
hope you know its true, i don't do pretends

feelings for you may have started like a blur
i may have chickened-out, i may have not been sure
but now everything is clear, clear as a crystal
you hit me fast, fast like a bullet from a pistol

i like every part of you, your eyes, your lips, your hair
every moment's special, even when you're not there
cause i know in this world a girl like you exist
a girl that's so special, no one could ever resist

it would be wrong to say that you are an addiction
cause for me you are not a drug but an inspiration
i know sometimes it may never appear as such
but i just want you to know, I LOVE YOU this much

it may seem hopeless, pursuing with 0% chance
it may hurt me like hell, like being hit by a lance
but with 0% chance you gave me a 100% more
100% happiness, happiness not like any before

words may seem re-uttered, it may seem like a rewind
i say love sees everything, they may say love is blind
either way, it still exist, its existence we can't deny
like infinity, love knows no limits, not even the sky.

loving you brings my dreams into reality
to be with you is like to being in a fantasy
falling for you, i will have no regrets for sure
I'll gladly take the laughs, the pain i will endure

my decisions have never been this clear before
to be at your side is where i always want to be
oh how i wish if you'll love someone, let it be me
