All this pain I feel for you
I know its all in vain

My soul desires love and affection
but with you I wont get that type
of attention

So I will let time heal my pain
with every passing day

And I know this love I feel for you
will fade away

And it will be nothing but a faded
memory becoming a sad chapter of my
life story

It wont be there no more when you ask
for it, it will be too late
Because you had my love and you threw
it all away

And when you see me go, I will turn and say
I told you so

    I feel both pain and acceptance in this poem. You come across as being saddened by the prospect of losing this person which obviously is very natural however it also feels like there is some acceptance that you understand the need to move on with your life. Underlying anger is also apparent in this piece. All in all a very well written piece that keeps the reader's attention mentally and emotionally.

    Well, have you ever heard of the self fulfilling prophecy? When you set out thinking you will not succeed, you are bound to lose!
    I think this poem is really sad, in several ways..You did however get the message across in a good way.
