When i'm with her

When I'm with her, she makes me feel new,
no matter the trouble, we always make it through.

whatever comes, we stay side-by-side,
she's always there, to stay for the ride.

she makes me happy, she makes me glad,
she lifts my spirit when I'm feeling sad.

i hope we stay close, together as one,
even after the final day has come.

this poem is dedicated to a girl i was hanging out with for a while and who really made me feel special.
